Some of you may have heard of some of your British and European cousins taking a long-lasting form of T named 'Nebido', where you get one shot every 10-14 weeks instead of having to inject yourself all the time.

Well, I discovered this morning that this product has recently been approved by the FDA for use in the US. It's under a different brand name - 'Aveed' - and it has licensing restrictions which mean that it has to be administered by a doctor who has been certified to use it. I haven't seen any specific mention of it being used in FtMs, but you might want to check with your doctor if you're interested.

That sounds awesome. I already get depo shots every 3 months so it wouldn't be much different. Do you have a link where it documents this?

It is awesome.  :)

Here's the FDA's page listing Aveed as an approved drug 🔗 [Link: fda.gov/drugs/drugsafety/postmarketdrugsafetyinformationforpatientsandproviders/ucm111350.htm/]. If you click on the link for Aveed on that page, you'll get a very informative PDF with lots of information for doctors and patients alike.
