Soooo, I'm not getting married but every year we have a ball here in Toronto where we can live out our dreams so we throw a bachelorette party and the next day have a big ball where we take over one of the hotels downtown and their ballroom.

So I need a dress and I can't make up my mind, I've narrowed it down to these four, what do you think (first on the left counting to the right)?

I picked the first one, I would have picked the third if I didn't consider those shoulders a crime against symmetry.
15 years on Susans, where has all the time gone?

I picked 3. The others seem very structural for a wedding dress. I love structural and have tons, but for me I prefer softer for a wedding dress. Though I have seen some fabulous deco ones that have structural overtones...

"prefer" makes it sound like I've had to make that choice.... I wish

I'd go with no. 2, I'd rather be sleek.
I refuse to live in fear! Come hell or high water I will not back down! I will live my life!
But you have no life.
Ha. Even that won't stop me.

I will protect even those I hate, so long as it is right.

lol, I'm a big fan of asymmetry, I'll probably be wearing my hair to the side and down to flow into the dress :)

If only I could look like that in that dress, I'm going to do a second set of measurements while wearing a corset to see how my numbers stack up and figure that into the selection.

You picked it and I just ordered, #3 won the poll, now to find a guy that will marry me (just kidding)

Thanks everyone for your comments and input, Hikari: I know I'll spend an eternity in asymmetry hell for this :)

Oh, I remembered how long to choose my own dress! I believe that such a day must be specially! I watched probably a thousand wedding dress sites, while I choose the one that suits me the best) I like the elegant dress, with a deep neckline. Which emphasizes the waist and hiding the hips. Well, it's for my figure. What dress did you choose?
