Well as some of you know, I have been going back and forth with my endo trying to begin HRT. Between, them losing my paperwork, taking forever to see him, him being skeptical about starting me because of cancer running on my mothers' side of family, now he tried ordering a bone density scan which my insurance won't cover. As I do not have the cash to cover it, and he won't begin HRT without it,essentially I have wasted 5 months on this guy.
Back to searching for a doctor who actually wants to do it I guess. For now, I'll ramp up the herbals I have been using and keep myself healthy, keep trying to stop smoking and drop some weight.
I gained a lot of weight when I was prescribed toprol xl last year. My metabolism went to h***. I'm doing well without it now due to less stress after coming out and going full time and feeling much better, less drained and can actually get my heartrate up with exercise.
My wife understands all this is frustrating for me and has been extra attentive lately.
I am not going to let this get me down. Just another hurdle.
