Hi all! I've been a member in the past but took a long hiatus as I've been "yo-yoing" with my identity. "I'm genderqueer/fluid/etc!" I've recently concluded that I'm not any of those more ambiguous identities.. not that I don't believe that they exist, I just think I've been using them as an excuse to deny my actual female identity and avoid transition. But right now all I can think about is starting HRT as soon as possible! Which sadly may still be over a year away.. Anyway, this place is such a blessing, and I'm so thankful it exists.

Thank you, Izzy! It is hard.. but you're correct! The best is all that can be done! I get stressed when I think about how much time I've let slip away. Working on not having that attitude!

Each step is so critical for as smooth transition you can.

It truly is not easy but once all the ducks get in a row it does settle down and there is always a happiness to be had.

You know where that happiness is and all us here will be standing next to you helping.

Welcome back. I understand about feeling like time has slipped away but there's so much opportunity in the future. I look at some of our older members here and feel so inspired and hopefully. We all come to this when we are ready, so that time isn't lost it was simply part of the journey to get you to this point.
