Does Blue Cross Blue shield of MA cover top surgery?

You'll have to contact them in order to find out which (if any) plans cover transgender health care. Just because one plan covers doesn't mean they all do and vice versa.

The only thing that makes a difference here is being in Mass. (Or CA or one of the other of a handful of states requiring coverage). It's normally the individual policy vs a specific insurance company. I do not believe any *company* always approves trans surgeries.
