OK, here I go

So I decided that since my current situation is as it is, I am fairly limited in my exploration options... but also kinda free?

I've been off work and more or less home bound due to pain related issues, so I'm free to explore without getting strange looks or having to stay "feminine" for work, but by the same token I haven't been shaving legs or armpits, or wearing a bra etc. so can't use that as a comparison or exploration tool.

So I ordered a binder and a basic packer. I went with the smallest Mr. Limpy but I was asking myself... how the heck do you PICK a size for something like that? I figured if the smallest didn't feel *right* I could always move up a size... I'm smallish in the moob area anyhow, so transference means I'd be smallish in the package?

Tips? Comments?

I think starting with the entry level model makes sense. If you should feel the urge to upgrade, I hear Sinthetics offers an 11" beast. Don't point that thing at me!

The XS Mr Limpy isn't really XS when compared to cis males, it's just normal size.

Funny -- you'd think they'd be sized more like shrimp, from medium to jumbo...

But yeah, I'm pretty big, and 3.5 - 4" is as much as I want to pack.

You know, I've rarely noticed mens' packages. Perhaps it's because I don't look much. But seriously, I'm not sure that it matters all that much. Just stick a rolled up sock in your underwear if you want something. I mean you are experimenting, right?

Actually Mr. Limpy has 3 sizes. The 3 1/2 inch sticks out, imo. But 5" seems so huge. Another option is the smallest Sailor. (Other cheap ones MASHO or PackIt) Or a sock. (LOL not pretty but it does breathe, which is why I still sometimes use it.) You really don't want to spend much money on this. (And what that means to you and someone else might be different.) There are also directions on youtube and elsewhere on how to make one with hair gel and condoms, etc.

I agree I wouldn't get anything too fancy, as you don't really know if it will increase or decrease your dysphoria.
However, the idea is not to look huge. Frankly you don't really want to. It's to see if you like the feeling/weight. But you may not. There are very mixed opinions on that one, among trans guys.

11 inches is crazy. Reel Magik has one too. I can't imagine anyone wearing one (you'd need a basket or something). Only a gay man would love this.

Everybody rags on XS Mr Limpy saying it sticks out. Since I wear a jock strap, the shaft lays flat. Actually, it does even in my underwear it tucks right down because my pants flatten it. What am I missing?  Or is the issue that it sticks out in a regular harness before you put your pants?  If that is the issue, why does that matter ?

Curious minds and all.. :)

I agree that if you wear with something that will basically tuck it down, then it would work. It has huge testicles for it's size, and I think it's why the shaft sticks up. THere are work arounds though.

I thought about that, but like some of the guys pointed out, a sock doesn't have the right weight to it. I've got Mr. Limpy on the way, so we shall  see.

Been thinking about this all weekend (was offline as a hotel for much needed rest). Can hardly wait to try it on!

I have kind of made a packer out of socks, but it was a little more complex, so that I could get a little more weight out of it, as that's my problem with it too. To decrease dysphoria it actually to me has to feel like there's weight up against your body--and the weight has to be in the right place too (something that obviously Cindy would be less aware of). Of course, everybody is different and not everyone needs that. Obviously this is all a sort of trial and error process. For some guys visual cues are more important. We're all different.

I think if you can figure out something to hold him closer (such as wearing in a sock inside your boxers-- such as a "c_ _ _ sock" or jockstrap) an extra small Mr Limpy is a good choice).

Way back when I was experimenting I bought a peec*ck (*sigh* the name is so awful). They had three sizes and I went middle of the road (5.5 inch). I wish I went smaller because these things can get really uncomfortable when you walk around with them long enough. If you really wanna go all the way you can shop at Reelmagik and get a super custom made packer. If you dont have money to burn, and don't care to use the product as an STP, then I'd just go with the sock idea or not wear anything.

As far as passing goes, people do not look at your crotch to see if your a man. Not unless you're wearing frickin spandex or something. They look at your silhouette, hear your voice, see your face, and then everything else if they even care. I never wear anything down there when I go out anymore. I plan on buying a go girl that I'll just carry with me in a pocket for bathroom use. If I need to wear the packer because it feels right then I usually wear it at home when I know I don't need to be out and about that day.

Anyway that's my two cents.

Always good to get more ideas, thanks!

I'm probably going to mostly wear Mr.Limpy at home for now, since my disability issue makes it tough to get out and the majority of folks I know don't even KNOW, ya know? If he arrives before the weekend, I will take him out for my close friend's party, but I'm doubtful he'll be here in time.

Jay, I think that's my main issue too. Guys with a natural one, or post-SRS probably don't *feel* the weight there so much, but I think I won't get a good sense of change without the weight? And my profile is very slim overall, so binding and packing will likely switch that around big time.

Unfortunately my voice is pretty nasal from Deaf accent (lots of speech therapy as a kid to make it more clear) and I know I'm on the high end... hopefully I won't be too incongruous!
