Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I am an older MTF who has not transitioned. Like many ladies of my generation, I was able to compartmentalize my female self while married and raising a family and having a career.

In recent years it has become much more difficult to deny my female self. I have a psychologist. She and I have worked to the point that I must try to make a decision. Attempt to live with the current status or transition. I don't know what the future holds. Hopefully I will figure it out and not hurt my loved ones along the way.

I look forward to getting to know some of you.

All advice is appreciated.

Umm, I see Izzy's cat but no mice. Should I make arrangements for the little wake and tiny funeral?

Hi Abby and welcome to Susan's. Am a late bloomer myself, having come out at age 56. I'm 66 now and have never been happier. My spouse of 34 years supports me fully.

:)
