How long can I wear my binder?

I mean, yeah, I know 8 hours. But that is just the time I'm in school. I tend to take it off at home because I don't want to get injured, but if I'm doing something extra curricular I can be wearing it from 7am-9pm. Is this dangerous? Also, I'm finally going back to my old Zumba class and I'm guessing I shouldn't bind whilst doing Zumba, so I won't ( this will be very hard. Though the danger I've heard about doesn't stop me from binding in dance class at school, which I have almost every day. But I couldn't cope with not binding around all those people who know me. But I shall just wear a sports bra at Zumba, I won't really look out if place because all the other guys have moobs and that's why they are coming)
I don't know what I was trying to say with this anymore.

Ideally you shouldn't be wearing your binder for that long, but it might be okay if you only do it every so often. Just make sure to take it off as soon as possible. It's good that you've chosen not to bind during exercise. However, if you're insecure about that, try layering sports bras. It won't make you completely flat, but it'll definitely be less noticeable. You might want to try the same during school. I know it's hard, but I doubt anybody cares enough and the long-term effects could prevent you from binding altogether if you end up injuring yourself.

Heya before my surgery I used to wear 2 layers of binders (a normal binder and a thin binder) the thin binder gave it that extra flatness.
Not that I recommend it, but what i used to do is wear the 2 binders to school and when I got home I took the thin one off and when I went to bed the other one too.
For exercise I wore 1 binder too.
So basically i wore a binder all day.

(it didn't hurt me, and that's very important, if a binder hurts you you should look for another one since it can be really harmful, my friend actually has gotten Tietze syndrome due to wearing multiple binders day and night, don't want that happening :-\)

BUT all of this of course depends on what kind of binder you wear, with a good binder you should be able to wear it through out the day without pain or so.
If you have no pain or any problems I wouldn't worry too much, just take it off when you can. :)
