Going out around in home town

Hello everyone!

So I am currently part time, but I would like to inch closer and closer to full time, the only issue is that I am nervous about seeing people in public from say highschool or work. I don't really want to come out at work as of yet because I just don't feel comfortable. I've talked to my brother and he said they might not even recognize me, kind of like hiding in plain site. Any advice girls?

the only thing really you can do is do it. Today I was sitting at the outside of a cafe and the lady that works next store saw me as me for the first time and smiled a little out of recognition then looked at what I was wearing.
