Reflection Of A Trans-woman

I look out of my window and I see the leaves blow
I am still asking the question wear do we now all go
I am now physically a woman, and I'm now happy with my life
But there are still loads in our community who still get daily strife
I will never look back on my society
All the people I have meet had a great impact on me
So I wrote this as a message to keep up our fight
Because freedom has always been our way, our right
Time will tell what will happen in 2018
Will humanity all live in acceptance or is this still a dream
The black Trans community keep getting shot down
And then you have kids going missing all over town
Because the churches, parents and cis people can't see
That we have never done anything to harm your community
But the lack of acceptance, for something you don't understand
Is putting half our community underground
So I ask the question why you have got the need for us to suffer.
Wouldn't it be better if we just got along with one another?
It has always been 1 step forward and 2 steps back
When Gay marriage was made legal, I thought we was on the right track
But then you're read on the news that another hate crime happened
Over some stupid reason that shouldn't have mattered
Is this the world that we want to leave for our children?
A world with no acceptance, just hate and dictation
So I ask for the world to hear my plea
Please just open your hearts, and show some serenity
Because we are all human just trying to live life
With as little complications with very minimal strife
And we are all the same with what we all go through
It is just that the Trans community have just got a little more to do
So I'm asking for understanding so we can stop this hate
Because as a fellow human, there is no debate....
