Hello,

I am currently taking EstroGel and according to this tutorial : <Not Permitted> I need to have a clean skin before applying it. The thing is that I would like to use an in-shower body moisturizer and was wondering if my skin would still be considered clean after using it.

Welcome to Susan's Place. I have never used the product but I would suspect a barrier like oil or moisturizer would limit how much is absorbed. That is why the instructions suggest application after a shower, so the skin is free of body oil which would reduce absorption.

You can just use some rubbing alcohol to clean the area where you apply the patch before you put it on. Just make sure you skin in completely dry before applying it.

Yeah, just use rubbing alcohol on the one specific spot you plan to apply the patch. I moisturize like crazy in the winter and this works fine for me; no patch irritation at all as long as I clean the spot with alcohol first.
