Hello Everyone. I am Lillian Brink. I'm 29 married and proud parent of 2 kids. my son is almost 8yrs and my daughter is only a month old.  I have had gender issues since I was a kid. Then had Miss guided views on what I was from the internet.  When I was 18 I knew I was in the wrong body but knew I couldn't do anything about it. Fresh out of trade school and trying to be on my own. I knew that starting my transition would be impossible. I was focused on getting a job and staying out from my parents. I wound up getting my then girlfriend (now my wife) pregnant and I had to push it back more.  Over the last 5 years I have been working to keep stable jobs with good insurance.   I know work for Tesla and found out Last year that I am diabetic. Finding out how good my insurance was I felt more confident on making my move on starting my transition. I already had a Endo from being diabetic and I talked to her about starting HRT and She was more than helpful on getting things rolling. She has my medical profile set up to start my HRT but just needs the OK from a therapist. I have my therapy session on DEC 9th And I am scared and excited. Over the last 2 months I have come out to Most of my family My HR rep at work And have been trying to run a blog on tumblr. Im new to this site and I like that this site doesn't lead to any porn or treat my condition like a fetish.

Im only scared about getting jerked around by therapist. I have heard so many horror stories. But I have also seen that Kaiser Is decent on getting HRT and if this therapist doesn't work out ill just drive the 2hr to SF to see someone out there. My Endo has always been cool with me. And she was all over trying to set stuff up for me on starting HRT.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.  I am trying to be am active member of the forums.  I'm actually new to forums in general.  But it's easier on this site. I noticed the link that shows replies to post I'm on. I'll try to chat about a topic I'm looking for in an previous thread before I post a new topic.

I was approved to start my HRT ! I need to wait for my endo to fill my prescription.  I won't have to see the therapist again unless I want surgery.
