Uh, hi! My name is Ben.

Well, I want it to be.
I'm transgender FtM, but I haven't came out yet. My age is thirteen, my birthday was December 19th. I'm in the seventh grade.
To be honest, I want to come out. I really do. My friends, who are LGBT+ (gender-fluid, lesbian, and gay), have been urging me to come out. I am ready, but I'm waiting until the next school year (eight grade) so I can start off as a boy.
A lot of people mistake me for a boy, so I'm guessing I pass(?)

My favorite things to do are drawing and singing, my voice is really high though. I love the TV shows Grey's Anatomy (The Face of Change is my favourite for obvious reasons) and South Park.
So I just found this forum and I'm so happy.

I'm currently hiding money away for top surgery (last time I checked, it was around 11k at the highest).

I hope I can make friends!

Welcome to Susan's Place. It's always good to save money when you can but you should be aware that health insurance will sometimes cover top surgery, therapy and blockers/HRT. You should talk to your parents about this and if insurance will cover this, don't worry because the money you have saved may be needed for something else. We also have a youth section you may find interesting and the guy tend to hang out in the FTM section. Feel free to go anywhere you want on the site and let us know if there is anything we can help you with.
