Is there such a thing as a doctor who specializes in transgender medicine and health? If so what would that be called?

Not exactly doctors specialized in transgender health overall. However you cand find:

- Gender therapists: Those are shrinks who specialize in giving support to transgender people. They are usually the ones who give you referral letters in order to get HRT from an endocrynologist and to get surgery (vaginoplasty). They know plenty of stuff about transgender issues and struggles, and they can inform you properly.

- Endocrynologists specialized in transgender patients: In some countries (for example in Spain) hospitals and clinics have endocrynologists who are specially aware of hormone replacement therapy for transgender folks.

- Plastic surgeons specialized in transgender surgeries: They are those who perform the GCS's (gender confirmation surgeries) such as vaginoplasty and the FFS's (Facial Feminization Surgeries) such as forehead contourings, rhinoplasties, adams apple reductions, etc.
