"Notorious anti-LGBT religious leader, Franklin Graham, has said he won't buy Girl Scout this year because of the organisation's support of abortion rights, trans issues and homosexuality.

Responding to comments made by Archbishop Robert Carlson on Facebook, Rev Graham said he was "exactly right" and that the 'ways of the world' were "incompatible with biblical values". "

Supply and demand. The more people reject the Girl Scouts, the cheaper and more plentiful their delicious cookies become!  8)

I didn't have any idea that the girl scouts supported this. I know the gay boy scout leaders have had trouble with losing their jobs. I have signed two petitions for boy scout leaders to get their jobs back and anti discrimination. I don't need to eat girl scout cookies. I wish they sold something more practical that isn't food. I might just donate to the girl scouts. I wasn't any good at girl scouts I only did it once or twice.

Mr. Graham, not sure why I should care which kind of cookies you eat. May we ask you to keep your eating preferences to yourself?
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

A preacher spouting biblical values over this after he publicly supported Trump who can't find it within himself to denounce the KKK.

That tells me a lot about what biblical values are.  No thanks.  I'll pass on that.

Love is not obedience, conformity, or submission. It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being....  - Dan Barker

Now I have even more of a reason to invest in a few boxes of Girl Scout cookies. Then again, I have a hard time taking seriously the opinion of someone who blamed the Sandy Hook massacre on "violent video games". I guess he must really like being a jerk to young children.

So they finally admit it!  They are not compatible with the world.

What is a Lie when it's at home? Anyone?
Is it the depressed little voice inside? Whispering in my ear? Telling me to give up?
Well I'm not giving up. Not for that part of me that hates myself. That part wants me to wither and die. not for you. Never for you.  --Loki: Agent of Asgard

No real Biblical values expressed in Rev Graham's comments. His boycott of the GSA does not make me boycott graham crackers! I have lost faith in the expressions of both of the Grahams in the past decade or so.
