this is my first time doing make up. I'm MTF so its hard for me to post these photos :(

i think in need to go darker.

I think it looks fine.
The best advice I was ever given was to start out simple and subtle. If it gets overdone, it will draw more attention than if underdone.
Also, there is a difference between makeup for work, play and evening wear. I try to look around me and observe how the other women are wearing makeup for the particular situation.

Overall balance is important in makeup. You can choose various makeup tools and colors depending on your other items and features. As you have short hair, you may try some bold makeup, but it is risky for biginners. Above all, you have better have long hair, which will make it easy to choose makeup style.

But, it is nice for the first trial.
