1 year post-op and unhappy with results. Should I go for a revision?

So I'm a year post-op with Chettawut, and sadly to say, I'm not at all satisfied with the results. To be honest, I'm not really sure what I'm looking at half the time. When I see other post-op pictures by the same surgeon, I can make out the different parts even if the person is just a month post-op. When it comes to my own body, I just don't know if it looks right...

Here are some pictures: (also sorry for being so hairy and not shaving)

Not much to comment here. It looks kinda decent I suppose...

Here's one of the things I'm not happy about: <Link Removed>

In every picture I've seen, there's a clear line between both sides of the labia. The line doesn't seem to extend all the way for me. It divides the labia at the bottom and then it simply just fuses at the top. I'll admit that I've never seen a vulva in real life but this just looks really wrong to me. <Link Removed>

I'm not sure if it's intended but the area right above the clitoris ends up really lumpy and protrudes out. I've looked through lots of vulva pictures on the internet and I've never seen anything that looks like this at all.

________________________________________________________________

Here's another problem I have with it. Sagging skin:<Link Removed>

I mean, I get that the labia majora isn't flat. It's fleshy and bouncy. But uhh....this just looks like it's sagging. It doesn't look like a labia to me. Frankly it still looks like a scrotum...

Third problem. Everything is just undefined inside: <Link Removed>

I mean a real vulva has many layers and folds inside. There's usually a clear line between the labia majora and minora. I've seen other pictures of Chett's patients and I know he can do it. But mine literally just looks like a slit. No definition. No creases and no folds. It's just completely flat. Like someone took a knife and slit me right in the center.

________________________________________________________________

I'm just overall not very satisfied. I don't think I look normal at all, and I'm too self conscious to have sex with my partner. What do y'all think? Are my complaints valid?  Should I seriously consider getting a revision?

I took a look before the links got removed. I only really follow Dr Suporn in detail, and I can't say I know much about revisions generally, but I'd be looking into it. Having said that I don't mind surgery and I'm a perfectionist so I'm not sure it means much.

I've seen posts (on this site I think) in the past where people have revisions in Thailand, and with different surgeons to the original. Have you asked Dr Chettawut about it?

The last set of photos look like you could have a posterior commisure revision.

I haven't. I'm not really sure what to tell him...

"Could you uhh...make things look better...?"
"What are you unsatisfied with?"
"I don't exactly know...just make things look better..."

What's that?

What you just posted.

Also if your result is that different to the others he done then surely he must know already. I've not seen many Chettawut results, but if yours atypical then I assume he'd want to fix it as he doesn't need any bad publicity.

Regarding the posterior commisure, its also known as forchette. Its the bit a the back of the vagina, where the opening is kind of rounded. I've seen it quite a lot in SRS. Its a common revision for Suporn patients, and I think it also fixes a problem where the opening is sometimes open when it shouldn't be. There's also anterior commisure which is at the top/front, and again another standard revision I believe. See if you can find Cindy Sins on realself.

Hmm...what do you think though? Do you think the results are decent or do you think I could benefit from a revision?

I see, thanks.

I'd be getting a revision, but being careful about not making more problems.

Here's someone who got a revision with Dr Chettawut. She's till around so perhaps she can give you some advice.

Is that a nice way of telling me that my results are bad?  :-\

It's fine though. I mean if you really think so then I'll just go for a revision. If you don't think so I'll just spend another few months debating whether or not to go for one.

Any suggestions on how to avoid making more problems? Thank you

Yup thanks, browsed through those threads before posting but didn't really find anything informative...

I edited my last post just before you replied. You may not have seen it.

I'd suggest taking a lot more advice than just mine. I'm just some person online and posting right now.

Not really what I'm saying. I'd probably get a revision even if the result was really good. The problem is I don't know much about revisions or Dr Chettawutts results. The only one I do know in detail is Dr Suporn - he only does revisions for his own patients, but I know he can make big improvements. Presumably others surgeons can do similar.

If you've already searched fully then the only thing I can think of is to speak to people who've already done it (ie some of the people here), and if you don't go to Chettawut then find out how good the surgeon is.
