Looking for useful hints/advice your Doctor may or may not tell you..

I will be having MTF GCS surgery this Oct and I want to Thank everybody for sharing there experiences with us.. It helps me to stay calm having a realistic idea of what may happen ( both the good and the bad ) ..
In reading these post I notice there is a lot of good advise that the doctors don't always tell you upfront..
Recent found Examples
1)The benefits of a warm saltwater sitz bath (with hair dryer on cold to dry)
2) Using Q tip dipped in Benadine solution to clean the inner labia

It always goes with out saying to Get doctors approval before you do anything ..

But it would be nice to get these hints/advice a little more central so when the time comes and you need some ideas you can find them a little easier..
