You're down in Australia if I remember right, so I'm not sure what the rules/protocols are there as far as length of time. Perhaps

If it's anything like in the US, once we get to that point we generally meet with the doctor and go over health history, transition goals, etc., they'll order some labs, you'll go get the labs done, and then you'd make an appointment to meet with the doctor again to review the results. As long as there isn't anything strange in the results, you'd be able to start T then. Again, that's how it typically is in the US. May be different there for you.
