I know , "not another I got my letter post" . Well tough stuff ... don't have anybody in my life I can tell so I'm telling all of you. Therapist gave me my letter at last Thursdays appointment . She asked me to read it before I left. I must say it was a little surreal reading something that referred to me in the feminine throughout the whole letter. It was a very nice feeling.
Happy ,excited but a little scared all at the same time. Now to start sorting out endo appointments and such. Not so easy as I travel extensively on my job and am not home very many days each month. I will figure out a way to make things work. Hoping I can catch the "E" bus before the end of the year.  ;D
Sort of funny side note. Have been seeing my therapist about 16 months now. When she gave me the letter she told me she would have written one after my second visit. Never occurred to me to ask.... I guess I needed to open a lot of the baggage I've been dragging behind me for 50 odd years...

Congratulations!  And I am sure that I speak for almost everyone here in saying, We NEVER get tired of hearing good news!  I can relate to the feminine pronoun parts... very surreal the first few times you hear it.  The worst part of it is trying to contain the glow and inherent smirk that will happen the first few times it comes up in conversations and introductions.  Buckle up and enjoy the ride on the "E"-Train.  :)
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

Way to go! Just like Harley Quinn, I can say bring it on! We will always celebrate people who reach this wonderful outcome! All the Best on your journey. It will be a bit of a roller coaster of emotion with both ups and downs. From my own experience, there are far more ups than downs. The future is always uncertain, but still a better place than the past!

Hugs,
Kelly.
