Hello,
Since my vaginoplasty surgery, I've been experiencing numbness, tingling, and more recently shooting pain in the lower calf muscle of one of my legs. I imagine it's as if someone is putting needles in my leg. My surgeon and I suspect that the numbness might have occurred because of how I was laying down for five hours during my surgery and for long stretches afterwards. The surgeon thinks that the numbness will go away without intervention. He is not overly concerned about the issue. The surgeon says that the shooting pain in the leg is a sign that the nerve(s) is healing. However, the numbness in my leg concerns me more than the pain from the surgery. Did anyone else experience numbness in the lower leg following surgery?
