Abbie, the BIAE (British Institute and Association of Electrolysis) has a directory of all their members, with flags to indicate if they accept Trans* clients and also a separate  flag if they will also do genital clearance.

Personally I go to the Beauty Lodge in Bedford http://beauty-lodge.co.uk, happy so far.

I know you've asked for electrolysis specifically but for Glasgow I'd defo recommend https://metroclinic.co.uk Metro Laser Clinic for both laser and electrolysis. Lovely people and do a great job.

If feeling shy or awkward feel free to say Jerrica recommended them to you as an icebreaker. Not on commission or anything lol but can give you an easy in for talking about trans stuff.

Andrew & Gillian know me very well since I started and always leave me feeling really good about myself as their trans experience can be good for an honest analysis of your progress. They are honest but nice if you know what I mean so if you have a weakness they can likely make useful suggestions.

Both are amazing and despite my own shyness I had no problems when it came to letting them get in and about my "delicate" areas. I've been done top to toe and I actually enjoy it as I like their company and being looked after by them.

Ok glowing recommendation done. Any questions feel free to ask.

I contacted one in Barnsley just before xmas and she did not seem to interested and did her best to put me off in a around about way, waiting to hear from one in Leeds and one in Sheffield but both these will be a hour commute each way, due to costs I suspect it will be a max 4hrs of treatment a month for now.

I will update the thread when I know more.

April, was the one in Barnsley listed on the BIAE website? I admit I contacted one person on their directory who claimed to do Trans* work, but they also seemed very elusive/uninterested in a new customer. There's always a sensible person who'll take our money 😊

The website only mentioned electrolysis and had no mention what so ever about being TG friendly, I did presume they would be accommodating, but they was no mention of being apart of the BIAE, so either its false advertising or maybe it was a bullet dodged, the further two I have contacted, one lists its self as BIAE and the other as a official NHS provider.

Just wish they was one closer to home, the fuel costs will alone will add up to a extra 1/2 hours a week treatment.

April, on the directory 'TG' means beard removal and 'SRS' means genital removal.

I live in the North West and have been using a lady called Sarah Gahan. She operates out of Preston Teaching Hospital privately and charges £30 per hour. She is registered with the British Institute and Association of Electrolysis and is so absolutely lovely.

There's a transgender-specific electrolysis clinic near Birmingham with extremely low rates:
