Hello,

   This is my first time on the site. I am a 57 year old married MTF. I have known about my inner self since the age of 5. I have battled with my identity for years and have tried to suppress it to no avail. I am very lucky that my wife of 13 years and fully supports me. I live in 2 different worlds, one that is very macho during the day due to my job. When I get home I am able transform into Veronica and my world becomes so peaceful and relaxing.
  What is so strange is that many female relationships that I have had over the years have been accepting of my feminine side. I am very lucky in that way. I truly wish that I had the will power to come out fully when I was young and do a 100% transition. I was always afraid of hurting others close to me. This can be a very lonely life at times. Anyhow I just wanted to introduce myself........it is nice to have a forum like this to discuss TG issues.

Hi Veronica! Welcome to the site!!!

I never really had people close enough to me to hurt - just my mom, and she is the most accepting person I have ever been lucky enough to know. However, I also waited later in the game to accept that I must be me.

I'm glad you have such a supportive spouse! I hope you can figure out your work, so you are allowed to explore your self without chains or other people's boundaries. I am also knew, and already, thanks to the girls and guys here, feel much less alone in this.
