So I had GCS (srs) back in 2001 with Sanguan Kunaporn... I always felt what I was 'born' with was a bit off in the first place (the organ they changed). Fast forward 16 years, and I was off HRT for 2 1/2 months total for my FFS.. primarily on the account my ffs surgeon recommended no meds.
I intentionally took a BASELINE after no hrt for that length of time, and it matched exactly what my hormones were like a long time ago before I started this whole ball game, before any surgeries at age of 21 (I'm 43). My testosterone count was nonexistent (<3), and my Estrogen was 'within normal limits'.... 50.
But wait a second here? I don't have any sex gonads allegedly producing that amount. I could understand if your adrenals were working overtime (which they aren't), or if you were on some hefty amount of phytoestrogens (which I'm not), or in the adipose tissues (of which I have very little generally).
So how does one 'tell' if you're intersexed I guess is the question. Or are there other potential sources of estrogen in the body I'm missing. Keep in mind my liver functioning is perfect (ALT/AST wnl's), and my kidneys as well. I don't have any other health issues (non-diabetic, etc..) other than dizzy spells. I'm also a registered nurse that really has specialized over the years in studying hormones in general, on the account of my own history.
Thoughts on this matter? Suggestions or recommendations? Any similar experiences & outcomes?
