Finally, religion itself is losing influence on society. I live in one of the least "church attendance" states in the union and as much as i see value in faith, it is not hard to see the value in lack of it or at least lack of it in any organized way.
Yes I agree. The younger folks, even in conservative circles are more open than their parents. I also think that we're seeing a last gasp of old time religion with the latest stuff. In 5-10 years they will be a small minority. On the other hand, I'm surprised there hasn't been the economic reaction there was in NC. If Texas loses money, the voters will follow our lead.
