So I finaly came out publicly on FB anf felt like I was gonna die of anxiety as I hit that post button.

It's been 10 hours and I've got nothing but love and support on my post which makes me realize I have to stop letting anxiety control my life.

Everytime I step out of my comfort zone I realize it's not as bad as I feared it would be.  I think I'm going to start pushing myself out of my comfort zone more and more until I have nothing left to fear.

Good to hear :). From what I've learned most people won't have any problem with you being trans (I say most as immediate family is another story entirely). And as soon as you take the first cautious steps being stealth in public it becomes a lot easier.
They/them pronouns preferred.

Remember that feeling the next time you feel anxious about going somewhere or doing something.  It won't always be 100%, but a lot of it will be.  And think of yourself as an ambassador of sorts.  I imagine for some of the people on your feed, this is their first personal experience with a transgender person.  That's the single best indicator of whether someone will be accepting or not, so you may very well have turned someone's view of transgender people being weird to being normal. Congrats for taking a big step!

Heeeeeey, congrats dude!

That's literally anxiety for ya!  I find that right before doing something is nervewrecking then once you push yourself past your anxiety you have a good time.

Thanks everone.  I have severe anxiety issues and this was a major hurdle for me that I'm proud I finally jumped.

Congratulations!  I'm really glad this is working out for you.  I've had bad anxiety in the past, and I know what taking a big risk can feel like.  It takes a lot of guts to power through that.

Congratulations, man! I'm glad you're getting that support. I deal with anxiety too, and I really want to come out on FB as well. I changed my pronouns to male, but I haven't taken any actions that will cause anyone to notice unless they go right in and look at my profile. I also haven't posted any pictures since I started presenting as male (not that I took many to begin with).

I think that might be my next step. Seeing that you've done it and been supported has given me some courage and hope. :)

Yeah everyone was cool.  I didn't loose a single friend off of FB although I did massive cleaning before coming out. Prior I had they/them/their   Pronouns but changed them to he/him/his within 24 hours of coming out and made a post that made my pronoun change evident.
