Thank you..and sorry. I know you go through as much as us transgendered people so.
Many of you bear that, yet show much support.
I know you face hurt, feeling of betrayal, loss, anxiety and anger.
I also read about so much compassion and acceptance.
You don't get many role models to base your experiences on..but each of you are amazing, even when your relationships change or fail.
Thank you

i have to admit, that i am blessed enough to not have gone through any of that.  i knew my MTF girlfriend was transgender before we started dating.  it was amazingly refreshing to me that we could discuss this openly and she could be free to just be herself.

i have also been blessed enough to surround myself with a diverse group of chosen family that accepts everyone.  that doesn't mean that there aren't challenges, but we learn to work through them.  i love that some of my chosen family are raising and supporting transgender children.  it's such an amazing network of love and compassion.  there are no taboo subjects but sometimes it might be hard to start an awkward conversation.  as in ANY relationship, communication is key.  it's so incredibly brave to transition, no one should have to go through such major physical and emotional changes alone.
