I am emotionally exhausted. At least that is my best description. The picture that came into my head was one of the cartoon turtles that pulls his legs in and steps out of the shell, feeling naked but out of the shell.

I feel like I am so tired of carrying around this male shell of what the world sees as me. I would like to pull in my legs, crawl out and just walk away.

Anyone else ever felt like this?
Cheers,

Dana

In one way or another, we all do!

Best wishes on shedding that uncomfortable shell.

This may be one of my more obscure posts!

<To explain some of of it, my brain is coming out of chemo fog quote rapidly over the last few weeks and I suddenly notice dyslexic patterns that I was experiencing and had not noticed>

I saw turtle and immediately thought 'Galapagos' then I thought Duck (I like jazz music so you may need to Google Galapagos Duck).

I read Dani's reply and thought "Yes we are like naked turtles who duck and weave trying to hide"

Maybe I should just have lie down with a nice cup of tea

Hang in it does get better, even if I get stranger!
