Though I actually do kind of like it, it's more feminine than a straight ponytail, and requires less upkeep than alligator clips.

Looks good...I am hopeless I tried the other day to do a plat and ended up with a tangled mess...my daughter has offered to do it for me if I want, so I might just taker her up on the offer...
