"Biopolar radio wave" laser treatment?

I'm looking for a place nearby that does hair removal since it is something I can get started on without many questions (no one needs back hair... ever), and the only one nearby offers just one option under Laser Hair Removal:

"Bi-polar radiofrequency (RF) and light energies gently and effectively target and destroy hair follicles to treat unwanted hair growth of many colors and types from all skin tones." (https://www.renuemd.com/laser-treatments)

I couldn't figure out exactly what this was. This isn't normal LHR, right? (This is at a sort of weird satellite "spa" for the place's main office which isn't too much further away, and which I think does do normal electrolysis. But I'd rather try laser first since I'm super pale with dark hair.)

 Hi Roll,

I found this on the treatment you described. It is an IPL treatment rather than a laser treatment. It is a safer form of IPL for all skin types with  what sounds like pretty good results. But it is not Laser treatment. Take a look for yourself.

Then again, it could be radio waves that have gone off their meds.

Yeah, the bipolar radio waves thing really raised red flags for me. Sounds like my instinct was right and this one is a pass. Looks like I'll have to range a bit further out to get what I need.

Probably only get away with it because radio waves are naturally bipolar as they alternate polarity and light is a part of the electromagnetic Spectrum but that is an entirely made up term to draw customers in the door. I would be very suspicious of somebody who stretches the wording that much.
