Way cool! I have friend building his own aircraft - usually in his living room... he is on his third one by now.

I could add your tail number to my ADS-B scanner so next time you fly by, I get a message :D

Hi Kiera,

I've been flying since 1984, but at the opposite end of the spectrum from airliners. I flew ultralights until 2008, when the Sport Pilot license came along, and got my ticket then. Still flying small stuff, two seat experimentals. I also won't own anything someone else has built, and that includes factory stuff. I build 'em myself, so I know it's done right. As for the attributes you mention: yeah, hungry, bad jokes, and cheap, but not military, drive a decent car (Mini Cooper!) and don't drink, except occasionally something with an umbrella in it (also a Parrothead).

I wore the Cap'n's uniform to another local transgender support group Halloween party last night, and this time I had a pax announcement prepared. Unfortunately there was no contest, so there was no chance to use it. Here it is, anyway:

=========
Good evening everyone. Thank you for flying *Trans*World Airways, and greetings from what used to known as the cockpit, but is now known as the box office.

I'd like to welcome you aboard this special charter, with greetings to the members of T-network who are flying with us today.

Your flight crew consists of myself, Captain Steph Sillyburger, our first officer Dis Phoria, and our chief flight attendant, interestingly related to our First Officer, U. Phoria.

Our route today has us departing HRT with our destination GCS, with stopovers at FFS and BA.

Following the WPATH laid out for us, we expect moderate to severe turbulence, plenty of ups and downs, and occasional headwinds. Our flight time is projected to be approximately one year.

Rest assured that we'll be watching the estra-dials to ensure we don't spiro out of control. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the finaster-ride.

Flight attendants, prepare the cabin for departure.
=========

Also, to enhance the uniform, I carried a cane with a red tip. I was a little worried about offending someone, but it was taken in good fun.

So I did wear a costume last night and even though I really made an effort to have fun, deep down all I could think about was how manly I looked! Definitely not what I expected. Oh well, maybe next year will be better.

Wait, is being trans-panda pimp an option? Because forget being a girl, I want to do that now.

So I went to another party last night, and it was much different than last week. This time I didn't drink and I knew almost everyone there, but only 4 of the people there know that I'm transitioning. I posted my pics from last week on fb, so no one was surprised to see me dressed in a woman's costume, but I did do a different costume this time. Things were ok for a lot of the night but it did get pretty awkward at one point. My friend's girlfriend got pretty drunk and she was annoying everyone, and then she started creeping on me. she came up to me a couple times and rubbed her chest on me and kept asking me about my makeup and asking if she could touch it (NO! GO AWAY!!), and she kept hugging me and she asked me multiple times if she could "give me a squeeze", and she touched my butt a few times. it made me pretty effing uncomfortable and I'm wondering if I should say something to her bf about it. He was the host of the party and he's a really nice guy that I've known for a long time, so idk, I just really don't want that happening again, but it will be a long time before I dress as a woman for another party like that, so I dunno what to do. Then later on a couple of my old male friends came and just ignored me all night, even while I was standing right across from them for a while next to my other friends that they were talking to. weird. whatever, they're jerks and I've been wanting to distance myself from them anyways.

so here's pics of the costume... I only got one full body shot and it's very unflattering and it also cut out my feet, which I'm bummed about cuz I was wearing some cute red heels!

I'm not super happy with my makeup and hair, but oh well, I think I need a new shade of foundation. I wish I had a better pitchfork too but I went to the Halloween store Friday to get one and the line for the register was like 40 people long so I just turned around and walked out.

one thing I forgot to mention is that people did seem to say last night that I looked great, but I left a little early and I guess they voted for best costume in a few different categories and I found out this morning that I won for scariest costume :(

I like the pitchfork, it's cute! :D

Also, "The Devil and Frida Kahlo" would be a good name for an indie movie.

In my circles, it's mandatory, not an option.  :laugh:

so I just posted the pics of me in my costumes from here on instagram. They were already on facebook but IG is different cuz I can't block certain followers from seeing the pics, and the person I'm most anxious about seeing them is my sister. I feel like this is a good way to test the waters and gauge a response, so far I have a feeling that I will have a positive response when I do decide it's time to come out on social media. Happy Halloween everyone!  :-*  >:-)

So I posted the pics and so far I got 24 likes, which is pretty good for me on instagram, my posts usually get less than 15 likes. I know my sister saw these but she didn't "like" the pic. I told her about some cemetery pics I posted yesterday and she went and liked both of those posts and this one was in between those posts, and I KNOW she saw it because she asked if I threw a Halloween party and I told her that I didn't host one, I just went to 2 of them. She and I used to go for walks once a week over the summer but we haven't done it in a while, so I suggested that we go sometime next week if it's warm enough. I don't think I'll bring it up but if she does then I'll be willing to talk about it.

I wish more of you would post some costume pics, I love seeing people dressed up!
