I am the chairperson for our local Q Center and we know that such hatred and and violence are sadly part of our culture.
For me and my peers this is only a further call to stand up, be visible and make a difference for those less able or fearful. The weapons of discrimination are tools some will use to keep us from a full life with all the freedoms and participation in public life we deserve.
We will not be intimidated or denied our rights!
