Hello,

A while back my mom when to AIE down at Tustin to get some hair removal and since then I've been considering going there myself. I was told about AIE from hairtell forum. The main issue is that the work being done there is all by students with different hours in training. The school offers courses that train students and certifies them to be able to do electroligy hair removal here in California. I called them the other day and I was told that they have all 3 types of machines available at the school for use and are modern (What is it called? Thermolysis, Flash, and Blend?). My mom had a few hours of work done I think two years ago on her face. As for scarring pitting and what not? Well, to be honest I never really paid any attention to it all. Mom did not complain, but she can be pretty in her own world a lot of the time! You basically get two options $10/hr for a relatively new student or $20/hr for a senior student. So, is this a good idea or not? It is obviously inexpensive, but I just don't know how much I am risking here. I think mom had something like 6 hours of work done and, well, her face is still in one piece lol. Anyone have any reviews or input on them? Prices for electro seem to be 60++ per hour. You could say I can do 3 - 4 hrs with aie, but obviously skill level will be a factor... and risk?
