I don't. And I do.
I think mine is perhaps an inspiring tale for all of us who fear not passing or looking bad or old or whatever.
You can see photos of me in my blog page. Army best, I look good not great. On an average day when I didn't take 100 photos and shared the best one, anyone who looks at my face know I'm not AFAB.
Here is the thing though. Most people don't scrutinize me. Why should they? They vaguely notice an older woman with long hair, typical breasts, women's clothes and makeup. They just walk on by. Sometimes I know people read me and they chose to affirm me with a compliment. Sometimes people genuinely think I'm female, like if I'm just checking out at the grocery store.
If I open my mouth the illusion is gone but I'm working on that.
I can say that I never felt as attractive as a man as I do now as a woman. Good makeup and HRT helping my dysphoria? I don't know. But I LIKE looking at myself. I use mirrors now more than ever.
Life is better when I'm me.
