Before I realized I could change into my authentic self, I always thought that if I had been born male, I would have a small penis.  I don't know why I felt that way, but I did.

I've read so many posts of men saying "I want a 2 inch packer/a small packer/I don't want to be too large/etc."  I'm definitely NOT one of those men.

Now that I know I can actually CHOOSE the size I want to be, I have a "go big or go home" mentality.  My packer, (which was given to me) is a 4.5 inch one of unknown origin.  I've also decided that if I ever get a phallo, I'm going to see if I can have a cock that's 7 inches when erect.  I also want a pack and play that's on the larger size.  Why be small when you can choose to be fairly well-hung?

So I have a few questions for all of you men.

1.) Am I the only one that doesn't want to have a small packer?

2.) Since you can choose your size, why did you choose to be the size you are currently?

3.) Do you WANT a larger size or a smaller packer?

3.) If you were born cis, would you have wanted a larger cock when erect, or a smaller one?

4.) Do you still feel "manly" having a small packer if that's the size you've chosen?  (I know size doesn't matter in relation to how manly someone is, but I'm curious.)

5.) If you have a pack and play, did you choose it for size or function?

6.) If you could, would you choose a smaller or larger play packer?

I can't be the only man out there that wants to be on the larger size...right?

My basic ianswer to all of it is that as a black man, yes I want a big one. When I used a packer I only wore a larger size and I've requested 7 inches for phalloplasty. I've no clue why guys desire and request small dicks.

Excuse my intrusion on your thread gentleman. But I just wanted to say that Dick size is way more important to guys than most women. I know a lot of guys worry about how big it will be after their surgery but being too well endowed can actually be a handicap. If you have a really big Dick the first thing a woman or guy is going to think is if they can take it. My boyfriend is very well endowed and I was worried about being able to take it without it bruising my liver. Now I worry about having enough depth to take it after SRS.

Being a nice guy is much more important than having a large Dick.

As you can see from my pic, I too am black.  Maybe because culturally-speaking, American men are made to believe that "African-American men are all well-hung," but I don't believe that's my reasoning for the most part.

I think I simply want something between my legs that I can feel proud of, even if its currently made of silicon.  Two inches just won't give me that same sort of satisfaction.

Don't worry Julia, I don't wish to be porn star size.  I simply want something a bit more on the larger size of normal.  Iirc, the average American man is 6 inches.  I want 7 inches.  I think that's a respectable size.  I've seen larger, both in porno films and irl, and frankly, too much larger than that is a bit scary to me.

And don't worry, I'm a nice guy!

My feelings on the packer are that I don't want it t to look outsized on my 5'2 frame. Now I admit I haven't used an actual packer, but often even a rolled up pair of hiking socks looks like too much.

As for post surgery penis size: I don't want to look like I have a constant boner. Unfortunately with phallo you have the size you have all the time, not just when errect.  My husband is also afraid of my feeldoe stout. I don't want a dick that he or future partners will be afraid of. That being said less than 3-4' and I would feel self-conscious. The girth is also an issue it can't be a soda can, but index finger is also a no go.

Basically I am afraid that with meta I will end up with a dick that looks prepubescent. But with phallo I am concerned about getting something that will constantly call attention to me, or make look like I am perving on the world.

It's one of those issues that grows on you, excuse the pun. Because at first just being as male as possible in all other aspects matters a lot more than how many inches you've got. Once those things are dealt with you can adopt a different attitude toward it. Cis men generally don't get to choose their size so in a way having the choice at all puts certain thoughts in your head.

So on that note I'd say it both does and doesn't matter. It doesn't matter when everything else needs sorted out first. And when you're onto the subject of your dick, well the size is a main thing, but possible not as major as how you want it to work, which will then determine the possible sizes...

1.) I must be in the minority of actually not bothering with the packer most of the time, due to do doing certain rigorous outdoors activities. It's an advantage not to have it being displaced. or having to think about it.

2.) I'd choose to be average size while unerect for my general genetics. I'm fairly active these days and I want to stay that way as long as I can, so going for something massive seems like it would get in the way of stuff that's important to do.

3.) Nah just average size for my breed, as it were.

3.) Well, like most guys I'm probably going to echo them and say it'd be better to be naturally bigger than naturally "noticeably small"

4.) Packers don't affect how I feel too much. I feel fine with or without them for the most part at this point.

5.) I'm just choosing for size atm

6.) Nah, I'd stick to current average

QuoteI can't be the only man out there that wants to be on the larger size...right?

You're not. As I said if nature made the call I'd rather it was bigger than not, and since it's me making the call I'd still rather it was decent sized. But it's probably the last thing on my list in terms of stuff I worry about at this point. I do worry about it some, because there is a possibility at times given some of my hobbies that I might have to take my kit off in front of people or wear stuff that doesn't hide a lot. Frankly I would have no problem doing either of those things if I was sorted in that dept., know what I mean.

I hope this isn't an intrusion, if so I apologize. I have a parallel to offer. I recently went for breast consultation. On one hand, I considered smaller for the sake of clothes fitting. On the other hand, there is the thought that, "I'm doing this, I want to take this chance to be big." In the end, I decided on 'proportional.' If you are big, a bigger penis might be aesthetically appropriate. The main thing is what you want. Balance look and function. Somehow  I don't think the average guy is as big as 6 inches. In my experience black guys tend to be bigger. I think  I was born 5 inches and if it wasn't for my brain not matching it, it was fine. I am not an expert in the wanting of any penis, on me anyway. lol
By reading your stuff, I agree you are nice Ryuichi.

About packers:
I don't own a packer. I am much more concerned with getting phalloplasty done as fast as possible than with buying a silicon dick.
I also wouldn't really care about the packer's size because I couldn't connect mentally to a piece of silicon anyway and it would always just be a piece of silicon in my pants to create a bulge and I couldn't call it my dick or whatever. To me packers are only like an upgrade of socks to stuff into the pants. So as long as they are forming a nice bulge they are doing the deed.

About dicks:
I want my dick to be proportional to my body, functional and aesthetically pleasing to me. I am of average height for men of my ethnicity and I think that an average sized dick [approximately15 cm for my ethnicity] would be fitting me and matching my body well enough.
To be honest I don't find enormously large dicks that almost look like the dude has a baseball bat dangling between his legs appealing in any way at all and I don't think it's the most convenient or ideal to have an extreme that's far from the norm. Not on other men and I don't want that on myself as well. And I know that the reputable surgeons in my country at least would all decline a request of building something gigantic and impractical like a 25cm dick for example.
Of course I wouldn't want a too small dick either especially considering that I am a top though.

I wouldn't mind if I found a partner after I have had phalloplasty what will enable me to finally date then and he turned out to have a small dick as small dicks are much more aesthetic and appealing than the baseball bat ones in my eyes anyway, so I wouldn't have a problem with a man who looked like a greek statue at all x'D  However, I generally find proportion and balance to be the key, art class and drawing stuff might have influenced me there ;)

Greek statues have proportionally tiny dicks, because big ones are objects of comedy in ancient Greek culture, right? The Satyrs have big ones and are constantly balancing things on them for fun :P

I wouldn't want to be Dirk Diggler or anything.

I'm leaning towards meta rather than phallic because I don't think I could ever get used to the weight of something being down there and the look of it. I look penises on other people's bodies but not on mine. Plus it seems like it'd just get in the way honestly lol. Can't wear certain pants anymore, got to make sure I dint zip up my fly too quickly, got to readjust several times a day for comfort.

But maybe it's partly because as an ftm I'm rather on the bigger size so meta would work nicely for me.
They/them pronouns preferred.

I just want something average that will function as needed and look appropriate for my body.  most guys are in the 5-6in range, with smaller or larger by a few inches being perfectly normal.  i wouldn't personally want to be disproportionate in either direction.  and since I'm on the short side, anything above average would draw too much attention to itself for my comfort.  I'm not vain/looking for something to brag about (not saying anyone here is) so I don't care about impressing anyone with my size cause that's not what I want it for.  I want as close to what I would have been born with naturally as possible.

Having a small dick was an ancient Greek beauty standard for men that was valued more and deemed more attractive than huge dicks and that was what they considered to be aesthetic and beautiful.
But they indeed put certain characteristics on men based on the size of their dicks. In the ancient Greek culture having a really large dick was seen as grotesque and ridiculous and was associated with negative traits such as stupidity, ugliness, having a mind clouded by lust and being animalistic and primitive.
Whereas the ancient Greek culture strongly valued intelligence, intellectuality, logic and rationality and they believed a small dick allowed men to remain more rational and logical.

I don't pack (currently), but I also have no interest in getting meta/phallo. That said, I LOVE my stout feeldoe for solo action.  >:-)

If I start packing in the future, I'd probably go for something average sized, and then break out the big guns for play. I'm definitely a grower, and since I'm not particularly obsessed with penetrative sex, the theatrics of being larger is more important to me.

Personally, I actually quite enjoy being able to be whatever size, shape, and color that I want. But I've been doing kink for a long time, so getting into the headspace of using toys is well-traveled territory for me. Do I wish I had a real dick? Sure. But using silicone definitely has a whole slew of advantages that real dicks will never have. And personally, they're advantages that I quite enjoy.

CMD042414 summed it all up for me.

As a mixed guy, yes I do want a big one.
Yes, I acknowledge not all ethnic men have big D's but I want to be the one who does have one.
Now when I say big, 7 to 8 inches is my ideal.
I want 7 inches when I go for phallo.
I would even be fine with 6.

I don't understand some guys who opt for small packers, but sometimes I get it.
I'm taller than the average trans guy, so me being tall makes a 4 inch packer look even smaller.
A 5'2 guy could probably play it off better.

I don't know if cismen only worry about dick size to please women (I doubt it) but I prefer the "size" that comes most natural to my build and height, which would be well... more than this silicone sh... I got going on right now  ;D

So yeah, for me it's important, and unrelated to any partner, as it's already been proven the partner will enjoy it regardless. Having a big pecker can be a disadvantage, a friend of mine has trouble in bed because he's too large for her.

Packer wise however... it can't stand up, so I don't worry about it. Ah, and I live in absolute abstinence (only partly by choice), so it doesn't matter much.

Cultural differences play a huge part in this. For example i myself, would probably not give any credence to Greek mythology or anything. It's not a myth that men of color, particularly men of African descent, are a bit larger. So for me 7 inches is normal. Also I am 5'8.

As a trans girl who recently got SRS, I hope I'm not intruding and I really don't know much my perspective will be valuable here but I concur with Julia that being a nice guy is much important than having a huge dick. I know you all guys want to be comfortable in your skin and it's not just to please women, I know, especially since many may not be into women at all, but if it is, just be warned. Most women would prefer a guy who knows how to work it than one who'll just shove it in there and skip any kind of foreplay and sexual build-up. That's very important for most girls, myself included. Don't feel like you can never measure up because you can. Just my 2ยง.
