Full time!

Just wanted to let everyone know I went full time on the 7th which was just short of 8 months hrt!!So far so good [emoji4] no misgendering yet but I have gotten a few wtf looks but that's okay!

Had an old high school friend (I graduated in 2010 see pic below) happen to be my waiter last night and he didn't recognize it was me! He knew my parents though so he asked me if I was Josh's ( my old name) sister and how Josh was lol!

First,
there is no such thing as too much golf.

Second,
The tan lines are a little higher up (womens sleeves and shorts tend to be shorter) but I still got golfers tan this year,  my first full season as Tonya.

Third,
Congratulations on full time.

Fourth,
If the 2010 picture is what you looked like the last time your waiter saw you, no way he would have recognized you.

Last,
Everyone you golf with that you come out to will ask you if you're going to hit from the red tees now.  I told them I would when they can out drive me.

Thanks and I bet they are! I have been playing from the whites since I still drive it like 230 at least for now which have already lost 30 yards from last summer when I was hitting it 260 it's a cool way to measure muscle loss progress. And yeah the tan line are just kinda manly right now lol that's what I meant darn long men's polos. I think transition has actually been good for my golf game I finally feel no pressure to try and hit the ball hard and I'm just swinging nice and easy and it works haha! Shot a 76 today⛳️

Hey Courtney, 

76 is awesome.

I'm actually hitting my driver a bit farther than last year (19 months HRT now). I'm 56 so my distance loss was during the previous 5 years or so due to age rather than HRT.  Nothing extensive, but I kept up with regular weight workouts last winter to try to offset the HRT effects on my golf game.

I can still pop one 250 now and then but 230 is a good drive for me also. 20 years ago 250 was an average with  275 or so a top.  I couldn't chip back then so my handicap is lower now. Way lower this year because when I changed my name they changed my classification to female also.

And oh yeah, what did you say to the waiter?

Okay so since everyone is asking [emoji4] the convo went down like this.

He comes to the table and it's hello ladies, can I take your order miss ect, and I'm like trying to contain my smile because I realize he doesn't know it's me. So I had just finished eating my salad but we are waiting on our food still and he comes over to fill our water and as he is filling up mine he goes,

Waiter:"So I have to ask, are you a [lastname] girl, like are you Allison's sister?

Me: "Yeah I'm her older sister! "

Waiter: "Oh nice I knew your brother Josh in high school, were you like a couple grades below us?

Me:" ahhh no I was in your grade"

Waiter: " oh really are you and josh twins I never remember you did you go to like a different school, how is josh by the way?"

Me: " ahh Actually he is really good but he is me haha lol awkward smile. Hey Alex how are you lol"

Waiter: gets super red is like omg omg I had no idea you look great I thought you looked similar random babbling that is hard to make out

He was so nervous every time he came back haha I was like ahh don't be sorry you just made me so happy you have no idea but he was petrified lol.
