Hello Everyone,

I'm middle aged and a cross dresser, recently I've been dressing for the first time in a significant number of years.  I used to wear my mother's clothes and try to not look like a middle aged woman, now I've purchased some of my own clothes and I'm trying to dress like a middle aged woman  :).

One of the most exciting things that I felt thrilled about, and it is silly, believe me, was when I went to the toilet and sitting there I had that moment when I realised that I was looking at my legs and that they were my, knickers and tights pulled half way down my legs. Then I'm back to trying to keep my skirt hitched up and not let it drop on the floor.

I now have a tiny wardrobe, a few different bras, some tights, which by the way, I'm loving, I've always loved the opaque tights and now they seem to be in fashion, so there I am with 80 denier tights.  I also have a couple of skirts and a couple of tops.  Yesterday I bought a new top and a mini skirt, I've never worn a mini skirt and it's so much fun, but the best part, was my new long nightdress.  I slept in a nightdress for the first time ever last night.  I woke up this morning and felt fantastic, it's a new experience around my legs, but it was so warm and comfortable and well, normal, which it should be as, well, like I said at the top, I'm a middle aged woman.

I look forward to joining in and chatting an getting helpful advice and offering advice where I am too.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
