Wow... I looked around on the internet for a while and discovered purely by chance that there's a support group nearby that it's possible for me to attend! In my area populated predominantly by people who are like, retired... (no offence anybody... but not much happens down here...) I was pretty amazed to know that there's a TG support group in the town only 10 miles from here. :)
I e-mailed the folks who run it (an MTF and her SO) and they say that it's every 2nd monday of the month usually, but in March it's happening on the 20th.

Now, the only thing is (there's always a "thing" with me :P) that it's in the evening, and in another town... so my parents are going to have to know... well, my dad at least... hmm, I have a month to decide anyway, but I really want to go to this... I think this might be the time to start talking.

That's wonderful, Steven.  You're very lucky, my drive to my support group is 70 miles (one way).

But, please, a note of caution.  Coming out to your parents may one of the most important things you ever do so don't rush it for the sake of getting to the next meeting.  They'll have more meetings but your parents are the only set you'll ever have.  A month may actually be too short a time to prepare them and tell them how you feel.

Of course, I'm not in your shoes and can't know all the details so only take this advice if you think it's a good idea.  Maybe a month is enough, maybe not.  Only you can decide.

Whichever meeting you get to though, March, June or December, Good luck and have fun!
