The information I have gathered is from the official hospital sites, news and people's experiences stated on the internet. And my sexologist says it to.
She is one of the leading sexologist in Norway who has specialised in tansgender treatment.
I am lucky I live only one hour away.

I have no hard evidence to show but I know many get privat Clinique hormones and take the trip to Asia to get Anny surgery's done.

If you start taking hormones by healthcare thay say you have to take every surgery to.
That is my understanding after all the info I have gotten form around.

I am not willing to go to Rikshospitalet yet sins I am not out as a transwoman.
I have to for myself get a better grip on myself first.
And I have to come out of my closest to my fiancee and family first anyway.

Maybe there is something other people from Norway here that could help out.
Maybe some one in the system.

That sounds like a very good idea!
There must be support groups or trans communities in Norway.
Make contact with them and explore the possibilities. :)

I know that there was a Norwegian documentary about transpeople in Norway a couple of years ago that I liked. They sent it later on Swedish television. I believe it was called Født i feil kropp (Born in the wrong body) but I'm not sure. Anyways it was a very good documentary, at least I thought so.
