A banger from when Drum'n'Bass nearly went mainstream! Loved the rolling beats and bass on this one. 2001, god I'm old!

I immediately thought of this one:

The three members of Rush attended the launch of STS-1 (Columbia) in 1981 as guests of NASA. They wrote this song about that experience and it was the last song on their "Signals" album the next year.

I remember this exact moment. Drum & bass was very underground until this moment. I had this and the remixes on vinyl at the time. Still listen to this one from time to time. Personally I like dark tech step stuff the best. Ed rush, optical & fierce, bad company etc

@Stottie Girl
This is a house track I made a while ago,  but inspired by and old drum & bass track of the same name. Tried to capture the same dark feel but in a different genre. Maybe you'll like it being old skool d&b inspired!

Unfortunately in my dead name, one of the problems releasing music before transition.

I'm not picking up the dirty raw gritty rolling base lines of drum & bass but I am getting a real nostalgic late 90's early 2000's deep house vibe to it. Love the base line. I'm trying to think where I could imagine this being played. It's not quite as deep as Shindig used to be but it's similar. I like it Charlotte!

Busy packing the house again. Got Morcheeba on full volume. Brings back so many memories! Forgot how much I loved this band. Trip Hop was a genre that America skipped I think. It was short lived but it's one of my favourite.
