hi there

i'm in a position where i've had to pre-load one shot, of <dosage removed by moderator>, for use in about 3 weeks. is it safe to use this shot in 3 weeks or will the t have lost its efficacy by then, or will it have become too contaminated? googling hasn't really shown up any answer and i can't ask my dr right now. where i live there is a shortage of depo testosterone which has resulted in people sharing testosterone, as some people have gone without shots for probably over six weeks. i'm sharing mine but drew up the shot i needed so i could pass on the vial. to my dr this would probably sound ridiculous. if it's not safe it's just tough luck for me and i'll just hope that more stock comes into the country by the time i need my shot.

The Testosterone will not lose potency unless you leave the syringe in a high temperature area for several weeks. Keep the syringe cool and you will be fine. The base fluid is an oil that may become too thick to inject, so I recommend letting the syringe come to room temperature just before injection.

Bacterial contamination really depends on your technique in drawing the Testosterone into the syringe. Be sure to wash your hands before handling your Testosterone. Use your best sterile technique when drawing up the medication. It is best to put the syringe in a new ziplock plastic bag after it is loaded. Again keep the loaded syringe in a cool place and you should be ok for up to one month.
