@zbrooks
Definitely time consuming and problematic if you have an hourly wage job that requires your full attention to your work during work hours.
Being self-employed and having your own place of business...
...and/or working out of your home is most beneficial for sure.

I wish you well.   I trust that you have a employment situation and an understanding boss that will allow for the time required....   and a private space to do what you have to do.

Hugs,
Danielle

It's doable when you're down to three times a day. If your doctors schedule has you down to that level after a couple of months, a recover time of 8 weeks would work well. Just remember that the surgery takes a lot out of you and your probably not going to be ready for work for 4-6 weeks after surgery. Working from home is possible however putting in a solid 8 hours might be beyond your ability at first.

My mistake was returning to work 2.5 weeks out of surgery as I hadn't recovered enough strength. I lived in a constant state of exhaustion and ended up losing my job. Fortunately the missing dilation didn't cause any lasting harm but I was luck.

I went back to work after 3.5 weeks. I had to dilate twice a day at work and did so in my office. I was able to use a lap top and continue working.
