Its finding a slot to use Ds outside lift, of course its going to rain the next few days as well.

Managed to fit the suspension arm this afternoon, of course it fought me all the way. The inner bolt was rusted into the bush so I knew it would need cutting through, front bit was easy but the back was deeper in the frame and my grinder was a bit short with a 4 1/2 ins disc. Blunted a new sabre saw blade as bolt is very hard, ended up getting a 5ins disc from over the road and used Ds grinder in the end. Was a 3 hr battle and I was glad to jump under shower, wash hair (full of rubbish!) and have some dinner. Flaked out now.Just need to get it retested now.

Why does that not surprise me lol! I always wonder how garages make money when every job on cars turns out to be living hell! Totally get the hair full of rubbish...rust and mud with a touch of grease 😃

car all legal again, I fitted front suspension on the Herferod and just waiting for spacers to be machined. Back to mums to see the frailty nurse, had to leave before she was done but she told mum to sit in chair and do her exercises as the muscle  needs working. We have been telling her that for weeks, I think its sinking in now.

No rain here yesterday but its arrived this morning with thunder in the mix, hope I have a dry spell when I go food shop. Have to go collect my spacers first then to chemist for some cream for that itchy patch and some Savlon antiseptic to take the itch away.

Thunder first this morning here in Derbyshire and very heavy rain all morning. The first proper rain we've had for weeks. I suppose we should be grateful.

I dodged the rain, did the food shop and my errands and was back at mums at 10.20. Sister had her sitting in her recliner chair, she managed 40 mins! Cooked a Goan chicken curry and made that rhubarb from mums freezer into jam, sugar caught in the pan a bit but it tastes okay and pan cleaned okay.

It was good rain, not too heavy so will sink into the ground. Little bit more this afternoon but sun is out now and its gone hot!
