What have you done with your “birth gender” clothing?

I kept a few pairs of tennis shoes, socks, sweatshirts, and one pair of jeans. Everything else went to the Colorado Springs Rescue Mission, it took several trips. Removing 'his' clothes from our home felt quite liberating. I came out and went full time on 16 Feb 2018, since then I only wear women's clothes -- my clothes.

I still remember to this day, it was around April 1989, when I dumped my old clothes in a garbage bin and my long time friend was there when it happened.  I thought it was going to be a spectacular moment, but it was just another small nondescript moment in my life.

I left my family and friends with a small suitcase of my old clothes and of course a suitcase of normal clothes.  After officially changing my name and just after starting work full time.  I finally dumped my old clothes.  This was about 3 months into my new life, and during that 3 months, I think I hardly wore them anyway.

There comes a time when you need to to clean out the closet and move on. However, cleaning out the closet actually allows you to go and do some serious shopping.

I must apologize, I do have something from the old days.  It is actually a track suit top with all the various swimming badges and emblems from various swim meets.

Nope, I will not get rid of that item, too sentimental.

It must be said that when I started my new life, all I had was a car, clothes and a couple of personal papers.  Virtually nothing, now I have everything.  Its not perfect, but hey, that's life.

I wear such androgynous clothing that I never had a "big dump" moment. In the summer, I wear shorts and t-shirts. In the winter, it's sweatpants and hoodies. No makeup or jewelry. My body is feminine enough, even though I barely have breasts, for people to not be confused by my clothing.

Tossed all the underwear in the trash. Some shirts I gave to my son, the rest was tossed as well.  My closet was empty for a bit but now completely full.

As I still have to play my old self at times, I still have most of my old wardrobe tucked away in another closet.

I had switched my wardrobe out for clothes that were women's but were not so obviously so many years before transitioning. So by the time I transitioned, I didn't have much birth gender clothing left. It has all been given away.

I have donated a lot of it.  I still find some use for some of the birth gender clothing but not that much for sure.

I donated most of it.  The stuff that wasn't worth giving away went in the trash.  It was a wonderful and very special day for me.

Everything I had that was male was either donated, or the really worn out stuff was trashed.  I stared a new chapter in my life on a fresh clean page, or maybe, it's more like a second book in a series?  Yes, that's probably more accurate.  It's need to know knowledge, but isn't required to know to enjoy this story.
