Nice pictures, please keep sharing them.  Thank you all!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Quote from: Sephirah on March 20, 2026, 05:01:49 PMThis does it for me, Sarah. Absolutely ticks all my boxes.

I am a huge fan of emotionally charged, monochrome images. Would it be okay if I made a copy of this and hung it on my wall? This image... I resonate with this a lot.

Danielle, I love how vivid the colours are in Alaska. You capture just how alive everything feels. Thank you. <3 I am a massive sucker for snowy mountains, and colder climes in general. You make it look especially enchanting.
High praise indeed Lauren! Of course you can, I don't really bother with copyright as I'm just learning. I'm not sure if it will be high enough resolution to print it very big though as i imagine the site compresses the image. Have at it!

When I get into my new house I'm planning on getting a large printer to have a go at printing images properly.

Thank you so much. If one image could capture my soul, you just did it. You have a gift, Sarah. You really do.

It's from the beach at Blackwaterfoot on Arran. The land you can see on the horizon (Right) is the southern tip of the Mull of Kintyre. You can sometimes see Ireland in the distance when you're a bit higher up.

It is honestly amazing. I kind of envy people who have an eye for this kind of thing. It's like... a different form of creativity. Seeing that one perfect moment in the world and capturing it forever.

Thank you for doing what you do, Sarah. Please keep doing it. People need to see the beauty of the world around them.

Aw thanks Lauren! I wish I was able to draw or paint pictures but I lack the creativity. I have the skill, I can copy pretty much anything but I'm no good at coming up with something original.

With photography I can be creative in a different way. It's kind of art for people who can't do art ha ha!

No, see, don't think of it in that way, Sarah. It takes just as much of an eye for something to look at the world and think "This is a singular moment in time that I need to document." It's exactly the same form of creativity. What you do... it takes the exact same eye for the right moment, that picture in your mind that you want to capture. The only difference is that you don't have to re-create it. But that's testament to the beauty of the world. Some people are disposed to look inside, some people have the capacity to look outside.

You are both artists, Sarah. Don't ever think you aren't okay?

A Sanderling from the beach at Druridge Bay. I love watching these little things scuttling around. So cute. Think this one is eyeing his dinner.

Bloody hell Danielle I thought you were taking pics of a wildfire at first! What epic colour! I've never seen a sunset quite as firey as that. It kind of looks like the saucer ship from independence day is about to emerge!

I do love those colors. That is a great pic, Danielle.

Stottie Girl

An old ruined farm in scotland. There is something about abandoned buildings that facinates me. I'm always trying to imagine who lived there, how did they live their lives. In the Midground is one of the Neolithic standing stones of Machrie Moor (the dark black object on the right) so this site has been used for thousands of years.

I could live there... after I put a new roof on it.

I think some of the old sod roof houses are fascinating.

And air conditioning!

Can't fix the roof in the rain.
But when it's not raining, the roof doesn't leak.
