Transgender women in sports. Is it fair to wear color mismatched dark pink top and a brighter hot pink skirt?
Last time I played I told my random partner I normally play from the forward tees but would be fine playing from whatever tees he was playing. I need three strokes to reach the green either way. From the whites it was a 160 yard drive to the short grass, 130 yard hybrid, again on the short grass, and an easy bump and run up the green. Low stress golf, while my partner was fighting the thick ball swallowing rough! After I got warmed up I started swinging like a girl, lengthening by backswing and relying on tempo and sequencing to accurately smash the ball down the middle of the fairway. Not much room for error, especially when faced with looming water hazards. Instead of backing off I used the extra adrenaline to swing faster. 😀
After being crushed by the 6th hole my partner needed a time out on the 7th Tee while he having second thoughts about spending so much time playing golf. He had planned to play 18 the morning before League play in the afternoon. I then hit a gorgeous drive to the middle of the fairway, as long as my partners, whose ball was in the right rough. The smart play is to lay up, just before the water. I elected to go for it with a 4H, which I thinned slightly, so ended being a couple yards longer than a layup, but still safely on dry land! Had I flushed it it should have cleared the brook running across the hole. My third shot was two yards short of the green, pretty much the same as my partner who was a yard off the green! It took me three strokes to make the ball go 410 yards.
I play with chess-like strategy, calculating and strategizing the effect of my most likely mis-hit of the ball. I also line up my approach shots to the green, so that I can use a simple bump and runs instead of a more risky shots over a sand filled bunkers.
I just bought a new 4H in Callaway Callaway Pre-Owned women's sale for $73! CPO is a major maker's outlet store. It is an example of vanity sizing as the loft is 21* while my older 4H, also from Callaway, has 24* of loft. This is called loft jacking, to make the buyer think the club provides more distance that other 4 Hybrids. It took me a while to realize that instead of looking for a 3H, I needed to look for a vanity sized 4H!
