Stottie Girl

Quote from: Gina P on May 18, 2026, 07:04:04 AMI made it!! 199lbs. Haven't seen that since in my nearly 20's. Feels great to set a goal and meet it. On the bad side my stomach is getting flabby or droopy as it deflates. I have probably lost some in the breasts but they look bigger without my stomach bulging below. Next goal 180!! No drugs, just some moderation on eating and stupid hard work.
Tore down the last remaining section of ceiling in the house yesterday. I had been dreading this since starting the project. Insulation, 100 years of dust, and debris raining down on me as I pried every t&g board off. I wore a mask but still was covered with so much dust and black dirt. I wonder if they heated with coal in the past? Now to clean up this mess. At least that is the last  part of the demo that remained.
Saturday, I jacked up a section in the front and installed a beam. Then removed the wall. This space will become a small bathroom and a closet. One more wall in the back to jack up and remove. Then its all new framing and such.
Well done Gina! I don't know where you started from but there's no better feeling. Loosing weight is a constant battle.

Last time I went on that journey, round about that mark was when my thighs started to thin out and things really started gathering pace. You get a real spring in your step don't you. I went from around 336lbs down to 168lbs so it was life changing for me. Two bouts of depression has put me back up steadily to 320 again (I comfort eat when depressed) but I'm back on the march again, 280 and falling. I've done it before though so I know I can do it again.

Sadly the deflated loose belly apron is going to be an issue, they say you can improve things by drinking plenty of water (2 litres a day) and applying moisturiser and will get a hell of a lot better but I think to get rid of it completely means a tummy tuck unfortunately. That said it is way way easier to hide under clothing and it's only if you want to wear more revealing stuff that it becomes a major problem.

Anyway, Well done and whatever you are doing is definitely working!

Depression eating is and has always been a problem for me. Also struggling with sleep apnea, I crave snacks for quick energy. Both have been a problem. The sleep apnea is under control and the stress has been reduced. This greatly helps. When my wife gets in one of her moods, I tell her that I don't deserve to be treated like this and I AM NOT going to live the rest of my life being treated like this!! Seams to be working.

It is nice to hear from you, as always, Gina.

Let us hope the good treatment from her and all is the usual, not the exception.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Congratulations, Gina!

I volunteered to help out with our pride fest here in Parkersburg. We are currently at 67 vendors. Who would think of that being so large an event, here in WV. Looking forward to it.

I sometimes post on Quara. Usually questions about being trans. Anyway they blocked me for a 'policy violation'. I appealed it and won but have no idea what they were upset about. Perhaps I used the word 'boob'. Those who know me, know what I'm talking bout. Just kidding. But seriously you think they would at least say what post was the problem.

I think I figured out the reason for being blocked. I mentioned Susan's in a post. Against policy to direct viewers to another site. I hope I didn't violate any policies here by mentioning them. Sorry if I did.
