For panties... I almost always wear Thong underwear.  "no panty lines"  !!!!

For sleepwear...    In the summertime I wear light weight loose fitting
sleep-shorts and a loose fitting long T-shirt.... however in the very cold winter season
I will wear warmer sleepwear such as a very lightweight "sweats" top and bottom...
....makes much more comfortable to get out of bed when nature calls in the middle of the night.

I enjoy wearing nice nightgowns that are feminine and warm.

Although I prefer long (45 to 50 inch or longer) cotton nightgowns, they can be a tad too warm during the warmest months.  They can also work out well around house in the early hours or before sleep time, much like a house robe.  But kimonos are nice too.

I do also like the cotton pajama tops which go down to closer to the top of my buns, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter.  On colder days I will wear the bottoms, not on warmer nights.  Some can be like a sleep shirt.  Pintucks and lace make them look so pretty.

But I also like the shiny satiny/silky gowns as they do feel cooler to the skin.  It is different feel with them, as compared to cotton.

All can be very feminine.

Some floral nightgowns can almost look like a floral dress.
Some nightgowns seem to fit like a dress.

It just depends.

Wearing less to bed is better during the warmer months unless you turn the air conditioning up enough!

I have more female sleepwear than ever.  On balance, I prefer long cotton gowns.  They can be soft, pretty, warm, and very feminine, for sure.  Yet at times I like to wear the shorter, shinier, smooth silky type nightgown (does not have to be real silk) or PJ sets.

Some of these longer, dress style nightgowns you can wear beyond sleep time at home if you are not expecting guests.  Or just put a matching robe over it.

I have been wearing a nice, warm gown all winter.  Not the same one of course!

In the summer I like the various types of camisole. Some silky and lace ones. Got a cute one with hearts on.

In winter I love my hello kitty pyjama's!

I wear my birthday suit when sleeping! I do like camisoles and french knicker style pjs and chemise's for lounging about though, silky ones are lovely.

If I can choose - a baggy t shirt for a top and pantyhose on my legs. It's a ying yang top to bottom for loose and tight. But if the pantyhose are super sheer they don't really feel tight at all and more like a breeze on my legs.

My wife hates it so to keep the peace, I'm mostly sleeping in a t shirt and underpants.

Wow there's such a thing as french knicker PJs?

I've slept in my birthday suit since I was 20 almost exclusively. I do have a couple of mens nightshirts for when its really cold but now I could be investigating pajamas again.

Well I think they are just referred to as camisole sets or cami sets but essentially that is what they are.

Sleeping in the buff can have it's draw backs as I have been known to sleepwalk! Don't think I've ever caused a scene yet though ha ha!
