The world's only knighted penguin, named Sir Nils Olav, resides in the Edinburgh Zoo.

There are no wild penguins in Iceland.  They live in the Antarctica area.

This is quite an interesting story, Chrissy!

The penguin was adopted by the Norwegian King's Guard. Each time the Guard visited the zoo, he got a promotion and is now a Major General of the Norwegian Army. Thanks to King Harald V, he is now a knight and Norwegian Royalty.

What are they smoking over there?

Screw Greenland. We can take Norway. Their Army is commanded by a penguin!

The Malvern hills are extinct volcanoes ,mostly made from granite .They bordered an inland sea and sand and gravel deposits are mined here as well.

The place with the most guano is the Chincha Islands off the coast of Peru.  These islands have  had deposits up to 200 feet deep and were home to millions of seabirds.

Guano is the accumulated excrement of seabirds and bats.  Guano is rich in nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium.  Guano is an effective fertilizer.
