Transgender Themed Movies

[Sarah B ✅]

Hi Everyone

I have added a new movie to our ever growing list of transgender themed movies.

2014 "Carlotta" (90 min) A Biographical telemovie starring Jessica Marais as Carlotta, offering a romanticised account that only hints at the harsher realities of Byron's complex life.

Carlotta appeared in the movie  "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert".  An Australian Classic.

A little story, at the time it appeared in the cinemas, I was reluctant or adverse to go and watch it.  However, my boyfriend, my mum and Aunt wanted to go and see it.  So I was dragged kicking and screaming to watch it.

Yes you can guess, I was amazed at the story and enjoyed it very much.

Best Wishes Always

I don't think White Chicks belongs on that list but it is also one of my favourite comedies. I've watched it several times over the years.
